An Invitation
I don't know exactly why, but I love fall golf. Maybe it's the sense of urgency, knowing that our weeks and days of golf are fast coming to a close and will end with the onset of winter. Maybe it's the great colors and the fresh, brisk fall air.
In addition, it is a peaceful time to play. By and large, most courses see play slow down pretty dramatically as the winter approaches and other events, such as high school sports and Sunday afternoon NFL football, take charge of schedules. All those things combine to make fall golf a distinct and pleasurable endeavor, worth the time and the frustration of trying to find your golf ball amidst the fallen leaves! Take an afternoon or evening soon, before the weather turns too cool, and come on out to Swan Creek Golf Club. We have a special going right now ($20.00 buys 18 holes and a cart) or just walk a few holes. Swan Creek is especially beautiful this time of year! |
